SD-Farmlinks initiative, and goal is to aid empowerment and job creation for the youth and women in agriculture through our livestock stokvel. Stokvels are very popular in the black communities and a livestock stokvel is one of its kind with monthly cashflow. Our livestock stokvel started as a poultry stokvel, whereby we assisted people with poultry-farming equipment, vaccines, day old broilers, feeders and drinkers. With this, we then saw a gap that that people want to invest in farming. Most of our clients did not have the time nor skill as well as educational background as well as resources to do farming. As SD-Farming we then introduced the crowdfunding project whereby we said, if a client wishes to invest, they can invest in the following clubs.
